Instrumentation Development

Instrumentation

Instruments are devices which are used in measuring attributes of physical systems. The variable measured can include practically any measurable variable related to the physical sciences. The ability to do this is crucial in a wide variety of applications; which range from the life sciences to the semiconductor industry.

There is often a broad spectrum of approaches available for instrumentation. Very often, an approach ideal for one application will not be ideal for the next. The ability to design an instrument that delivers the best outcome for an application is a challenging aspect. This is especially pertinent when developing instrumentation that work at the micro and nano scale
